- A song well sung. This goes out to my ward choir, who made me proud in practice today. Of course, the tabernacle choir also brings tears to my eyes sometimes with Redeemer of Israel.
- Brownie batter. It's just as yummy in the liquid form as when baked, and is so handy to whip up a tasty dessert.
- Advil. Sometimes I hate being a girl.
- Cheerful smiles from friends.
- A scanner/copier/printer. Saves me a last-minute trip to Kinko's, and the money that has to be spent there. Also allows me to scan in pictures from my childhood and keep them in digital form.
- Sunday naps. This one may be a repeat, but I'm still grateful for it.
- Handy packages of Kleenex, and being able to share them.

A few thoughts for you
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work!
~Thomas Alva Edison
I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve (or save) the world and a desire to enjoy (or savor) the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.

We are all worms. But I do believe I am a glow-worm.

Recipe for a house
Apparently it's really easy. First, you start with this:

Now blink once, and come back just one week later.

Amazing! Just like magic! I've actually walked around inside, but it was too dark at the time for me to take pictures. Today, there were creepy construction workers around, so I just snapped a few photos and took off. I've got to time my house visits better.
A few random thoughts I had while vacuuming just now:
What is this magical thing we call dust? I cleaned it just an hour ago, and it's back already!
The maintenance men are preparing the apartment downstairs for new inhabitants...the third time in two years. Should we be getting some sort of message as to what sort of upstairs neighbors we are?
Adam and I went to the Spurs/Rockets basketball game last Friday night, the only night last week I was able to spend with him. To save our marriage, I'm glad the Rockets won. But come on, Spurs! The Rockets had three turnovers in a row, and you can't score off of a single one of them?!? Something's wrong here!
And since I couldn't spend time with Adam on Saturday, I had a date with the sewing machine and Sir Percy, Marguerite, and Chauvlin. Not a bad evening, really. Stay tuned for completed sewing projects hopefully coming soon!
Finally, I found a white hair today. It was screaming for attention, sticking straight out from my head---I couldn't possibly miss it. All I can say is my ovaries better start kicking in before my hair color goes completely!

Blessed
For every time I feel the need to complain about something I'm always reminded of how blessed I am. Such was the instance today. I am so very blessed, in so many ways! I hope I never forget it.
And if you feel that I am forgetting, please smack me on the head.
