7 things I'm grateful for today:
- Sunscreen. It has already started to get hot here so I'm feeling the burn at work, and since I have a lawn to take care of and just started swimming in an outdoor pool I'm going to be spending more time outside than I do already. I've stocked up already.
- Swimming pools. I love to run, don't get me wrong, but in the Texas summer nothing beats the pool for a good workout. Of course, by the time I get home from work I'm usually all watered out, and have no desire to partake of the refreshing goodness, but maybe this summer I'll drag my husband along for some chillin' time.
- Afternoon naps. Mmmmmm.....
- Bangs. There, I've said it. They're a big pain to deal with at work, but they update my hairstyle from the one I've had, like, forever. I'm just hoping my amazingly awesome hairstylist can come up with something new for me soon, and keep the bangs, because I'm not really good with the round brush hair styling. I tried it, but it never looked the way I wanted it to.
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians. They're kind of a young read, but they're good, clean, take-your-mind-off-of-things fun. And how cool would it be if you could breathe underwater and get the ocean to do what you wanted?!?
- Free long distance on a cell phone. I talk to my family more now than I did in college when I lived closer.
- My wonderful, lovely mother! Every little girl grows up to realize just how much she needs her mommy. I've realized how talented my mother was, being able to take care of nine children, a household, one busy husband, and herself, too! I don't know if I ever saw her take a sick day. I hope to be a mother soon, and call her up many, many times with questions! Happy Mother's Day, Mommy!

I promise that, coming soon, I will post some pictures of our house. When I get over these allergies. And have a free evening when I'm not too tired. And finally take a picture or two that I like. Don't hold your breath---it might be a while yet.
