And this is why I chose my career

Let me explain. When I was a baby my mom used to call me her little California sea otter because I would lie on my back in the tub and wave my arms and legs. (And because I was born in California, probably.) From that point I took an interest in sea otters, which then led to an interest in marine biology in general. Whenever I got to choose my topic for a research paper in school, it always had something to do with marine biology. And now here I am, working with the marine animals I've been interested in since the beginning of my school days.
