Spurs game, sometime in October. (I forgot the date.) It was actually a preseason game, Spurs vs. the Miami Heat, and of course, Adam wanted to go. Here we are at the game, trying to take a picture of ourselves. Adam has to be the picture taker since his arms are the longest.

And here's how close we were to the court. My supervisor gave us the awesome seats!

This is Tim Duncan, my favorite Spurs player. I met him once at work when he and his family came out for a visit. Nicest guy ever.

That blur in the middle is LeBron James. Seriously!

These are the yummy cupcakes my husband baked for my birthday. Isn't he sweet? He took the day off from work to spend it with me, did the yardwork, bought me a massage, and gave me flowers the next day. Great birthday week!

This was a little experiment to prove to myself that I can actually grow something! First the sprouts...

Then the bigger leaves...

And finally some produce! They're still a little small, but I'll bet in a week or so they'll be just right. Those seeds were a year old, too. I'm thinking of trying more next year.

Oh, and I can grow basil, too. In fact, I can't stop it from growing. It's a little out of control, but so tasty, too!

Now, these flowers didn't last as long as I would have hoped. Apparently I've still got a lot to learn.

A big, big, HUGE thanks to Trish for helping me finish my wall quilt! It looks absolutely fabulous, and I couldn't have done it without her! Now we're just figuring out how to hang it up.

Another project completed: my autumn wreath! This was the inspiration, and here is the final outcome. For some reason this took me forever, but that's probably because I had to contemplate each cranberry before I glued it on.

Finally, another piece of furniture was added to our collection! We probably didn't need it as much as, oh say, a dining room table or bookshelves, but we found one we liked so we bought it. And now I have a place to put up our nativity!

Of course, I have to include some pictures of me swimming with my babies.

Coming up next: Georgia trip and Thanksgiving.

your cranberry wreath DOES look a lot like the acorn one I've been working on. And, you and Nina (the sewing machine) did all the work :) I'm glad you love it, it is BEAUTIFUL!!! If you need help or a machine to hanging it, you know where to find me! :)
(on another note, it looks like Adam does a fine job with the self-portrait . . . . you should see some of our attempts :)
Yay for basil! Your plants are beautiful! You wall quilt is lovely. Nice work. I love your cranberry wreath. It's is gorgeous! Of course, I always love seeing you swimming with your babies.
I am way impressed with your projects! It always feels good to get them finished too.
I love the swimming pictures also.
I Love your projects!! Your quilt is gorgeous, well done. And I see cranberries and think of your project and it turned out darling.
Oh and nice table find.
I love your babies and I do agree Adam takes a great self-portrait shot. ( Is it still self when there are two people?...or is it couple-portrait?) :)
Love hearing all that's gone on! Well, I'm sure it's not ALL . . . =) I am totally in awe of anyone who can quilt like that. I'm lucky if I get simply squares and triangles down most of the time. Love ya!
That quilt is awesome. I applaud you. I dont' have the patience for quilting like I want to have. By the way, if you go to babiesrus.com they have really nice quilt hangers that you don't have to put a hole in the quilt to hang. you pinch it between two pieces of wood and hang the wood. Check it out.
