Set up temporary camp at the dining room table. Time for an upgrade, I think.
What do you do when you have three vehicles and only two registered drivers in the house?

Fortunatly, this one is now SOLD!
Our first experience with Craig's list was quick and painless, and we had 15 people interested in the truck the very next day after posting.
What is the last thing anyone expects during a Texas winter?

Yep. This is...

Not a lot of people can remember the last time we had this much snow here. Sources claim that at one point San Antonio, Texas, was only 2 degrees warmer than Anchorage, Alaska. WOW. Sorry, Rebekah, I should have sent you some! Work has been slightly miserable during this last cold snap, although I did get to take a day off the day it snowed. We had a full quarter-inch on the roads, and they shut down all major highways---I had no way to get to work!
(Oh, and if you don't know about Texas weather, it'll swing 20 degrees in an hour, and 40 degrees in a day. I went swimming outside today, and it reached a high of about 65. Come Thursday this week it'll be back down to a high of 40.)
And now time for the 7 things on the 7th:
I am grateful for...
- Cupcakes, and friends who share them with us! Yum!
- Pride and Prejudice. Book or movie? I'll take them both.
- Violin lessons. I can hear myself improving, and it makes me very happy!
- Washing machines. I hand washed a bag today, and didn't really have a clue what I was doing.
- Vacuum cleaners. Can you imagine how hard life without them? (Can you tell I cleaned a lot today?)
- Free samples at the grocery store. It's like snack time while you shop!
- Friends who let me borrow their camera lens to try it out. I fell in love with it right away. Here are some of the test photos I took (at the San Antonio Temple).
