Enchanted Rock
We wanted originally to go camping since we didn't get to go during Thanksgiving break, but we settled for urban camping and hiking the tallest "peak" near San Antonio. The hike takes approximately 20 minutes, so it's not really all that tall, but we took the back trails all around the hill to make up for the lack of vertical distance.

Nice socks!

San Antonio Museum of Art
The whole reason we wanted to go to the museum was for the traveling exhibit on Egyptian art that they were featuring last month. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to take pictures of that particular exhibit. I snuck one in at the beginning--it's a real sarcophagus!--but that was all I got. It was worth it, to see an actual mummy. The rest of the museum was mostly artifacts, and not so much paintings on the wall, which was the other reason we wanted to go. And there was way too much to try to cram into the 2 hours that we did.

Glass art ceiling.

This make our classic redbox date night look pathetic!! I never knew a hike could look like so much fun!!! And a museum?? I love that y'all did this- so adventurous. And you have some serious skills with a camera. Your pics at the temple were especially amazing. And id like to hear you play the violin please. Thanks!! :)
You'll have to tell me where this enchanted rock place is. I love to hike and didn't know there were places to do it around here. San Antonio sounds like a lot more fun than Austin. Or maybe you just make it fun.
