Meet my adorable nephew!
As you can see, I'm still learning how to focus things correctly on my camera, but I'd say these pictures turned out pretty good, and they were all taken on a manual setting! And yes, those streaks in the first pictures are raindrops. He wasn't quite sure what to think about being outdoors at that time--it was pretty hard to get him to crack a smile. I had so much fun practicing picture taking in Utah, but with this little man being the subject who wouldn't? I just wish I had recorded the settings so I can improve the pictures next time. Thanks, little sister, for letting me take your baby for a few days!

GREAT job!!! You should be able to see your settings that you used on Picasa (if you use Picasa....).
I love how you can actually get your background nice and out of focus with the subject nicely IN focus. Ah, the joys of having a camera like that. In the meantime, I'm grateful for my near-indestructible camera that at least documents my family's life, lol! Great job! Can't wait to see where you go from here!
